We are learning so many important concepts in math! Learning the ones are "ones" until there are ten of them. Keeping track of your sets of ten and your sets of one
can be confusing. We used manipulatives and a ten-frame to create our sets of ten and then poured the manipulatives into a "10 Cup". The students counted
by tens and used the "leftover" ones to figure out how many objects they had.
